Atradius Payment Practices Barometer
Credit Insurance underwriter Atradius has released their latest Payment Practices Barometer for Western Europe.
GB Core results
- An average of 30% of the total value of domestic and export invoices are overdue
- Insufficient availability of funds is the main reason for payment delays from domestic (47.9% of respondents) and foreign B2B customers (39.5%)
- 4.8% and 5% of the total value of domestic and foreign B2B invoices respectively went uncollected
- For 33% of British respondents, maintaining adequate cash flow is the biggest challenge to business profitability this year (versus Western European average of 27.8%)
