Major High Street failures

We have seen a surprising number of failures on the High Street over the last year. An interesting piece on the BBC website gives a round-up of the high profile failures and current position; http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-13977255



Many of these failures will have had, or will have a knock on effect, causing problems for other businesses in the supply chain. 



Whilst the financial issues affecting companies such as HMV and Comet were well known, credit insurance protects against the unexpected bad debts which often occur following the failure of a major business, due to the 'domino effect'.
